Today I have finally finished another S.L.J activity called Guiding principles. So we had to create a poster about a whakatauki. A whakatauki is an insight into Māori thought. The word whakatauki can be split down into whaka (to cause) tau (to be settled) and ki (a saying) A whakatauki is a saying that can be settled over time. so here is my whakatauki.
I am a Year 6 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My teacher is Miss McLeod. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post

Hello again Mikayla :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting poster! I really like how you have chosen a poster that is focused so closely around family as I also believe that family is really important. Did you do anything fun with your family over the holidays?
Great use of colour in your poster, I like how you have coloured your words different colours. Maybe you could also colour the background of your poster next time as well!
Keep up the great work!
