Maths brain teaser

 Hi I did a maths brain teaser it was super duper easy. It wasn't challenging at all. Do you do brain teasers at your school?

Here is my brain teaser it explains how I worked it out.

Brain teaser

 Hi guys im in miss Mcleods math group and we do something that is called a brain teaser which is a maths task that is challenging. So on Monday we did a brain teaser it was a little bit challenging but kinda easy what we had to do was fill the coded hundreds board and make it all fit into the square to make a puzzle.

But with the pieces you could not rotate them except for one piece. Here is my coded hundreds board.

Statistics

 Today in math we did statistics on a google sheet. It was quite easy part from when I kept forgetting to do the axis titles. I made a pie graph and a collom graph. We got all this data from yesterdays survey I went around asking people what is there favorite takeaway they then put there hand up for whatever one they wanted.

Can you tell the time?

Hi readers, Today for math we learnt about clocks because thats a great skill to have. We learnt half past,quarter,To,O' clock, fifteen,thirty,Minutes and all sorts like that. Telling time is fun but kinda easy. When you've practised for a bit you will be really good at it. Whats the time right now try not to right it in didgital E.G

Good morning everyone today I played hit the button for maths if like we were at school. Hit the button is were you answer maths questions you can pick halves times divison and doubles . There is a red and green light if you get it right it goes green if you get the question wrong  the button goes red and it times you. Have fun try it out.

Today in maths we did a fun work sheet called this weeks number what we had to do was see if it was even or odd and round the number and other things on it my favourite part was rounding the number and + - x and dividabi. And my least favourite was how many 1000s in the number.

Statistics Investigation

This afternoon in maths we made a google sheet to add our statistics information statistics are graphs. Theres  different types of graphs there's bar graphs,dot plots,stem and leaf,pie graph,colum graph. So what we had to do for our investigation was do some steps and then ask people. Then answer some questions. Today we moved on to the last step make a google sheet and put all of the information in. I finally did all of that and got on to blogging. so here is the steps.

1.Think of a question
2. Write some options
3. Survey some people
4.Write up tally chart
5. Do our graph
6. write and answer 3 questions

Yesterday  we looked at a measuring problem called standing order so what we had to do was find out who was the smallest  and who was the tallest  chris is the tallest amy is medium and jayne is the smallest.

                          In maths this week we have been doing some logic puzzels/brain teazers 
                               

It can only be 7,8,9,10

I think the answer is 9 because

There is 5 blocks at the front and 4 at the back and because whats holding up the 5th block so there must be 2 blocks under it to make it that tall

so 5 +4 =9 so my answer is 9

Yesterday in maths we played the thousands game.First we picked four cards

The cards that we picked could be 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 but not 10. Next we had to find a buddy.With the four cards we had to make smallest to biggest and then biggest

to smallest my cards were 4326 so my smallest number was 2346 my biggest number was 6432  it is a really fun game to play my favourite subject is maths by Mikayla
